  • ½ teaspoon nutmeg

Topping:

  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup old-fashioned oats
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 8 tablespoon unsalted butter (diced into ½" cubes)

Easy Crock Pot Apple Crisp Save

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Apples: Add sliced apples, granulated sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg to a large mixing bowl. Stir to combine, then transfer to the slow cooker, spreading out evenly.
  2. Prepare the Topping: In another large mixing bowl, mix together the brown sugar, old-fashioned oats, and all-purpose flour. Add the cubed butter and cut it into the oat mixture using two forks or a pastry cutter until it forms small crumbles.
  3. Assemble: Spread the topping mixture evenly over the apples in the slow cooker.
  4. Cook: Cover and cook on HIGH for 2 hours. Then turn the slow cooker to warm, remove the cover, and let it cool for about 30 minutes.
