Instructions:

  1. Preheat & Prep: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease your loaf pan.
  2. Mix: In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, Stove Top Stuffing, chopped onion, eggs, ½ cup ketchup, milk or water, garlic powder, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined (overmixing can make it challenging).
  3. Shape & Glaze: Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place it in your prepared pan. Spread the remaining ¼ cup of ketchup over the top of the meatloaf.
  4. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 50-60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F (71 degrees C).
  5. Rest & Serve: Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, gravy, and green beans.

Tips:

  • Don't overmix: Mix the ingredients just until they come together. Overmixing will result in a tough meatloaf.
  • Flavor Variations: Try different flavors of Stove Top Stuffing or add a handful of grated cheese to the meatloaf mixture.
  • Make it Moist: If the mixture seems dry, add an extra splash of milk or water.
